Now I'm on windows 7, and there is some special ability in power options. That helped in the way that pops and cracks now occure rarely, but they are still there.

Then I've read that the power supply is the main problem, someone recommended to switch from high performance to balanced, so that CPU is not using all the power (something like that). Even with turning off, I heard pops every minute. Don't know the exact reason for that but maybe wireless module is sharing IRQ with usb devices. First, when using audio2dj I disconnect wireless module (read many times on forums, there is some problem with that). I've HP 6735s (AMD turion x2, 4gb ram, ati hd3200). I think the main problem is laptop's chipset (in my case - AMD). Ok, I had similar problems with pops and cracks on audio2dj.
